House rules

1. Arrival and departure

On the day of arrival, your room is available from 14:00 available. You will receive information about check-in and access in advance by email. With your personal door code you can arrive independently at any time, even after 21:00. Personal check-in at reception then takes place the next morning.

On the day of departure, the room must be vacated by 09:30 to clear. If a personal check-out is necessary, this is possible from 07:30 to 09:30. Please remove the bed linen and place it in the laundry baskets provided along with used towels.

2. Access and keys

With your personal door code you have access to the house around the. Please only pass on the code to guests traveling with you who have registered with us.

For private rooms and fully booked shared rooms, a room key can be issued against a deposit. In the event of a loss for which you are responsible, necessary replacement costs may arise in accordance with statutory regulations. A flat-rate contractual penalty is not charged.

3. Rooms and hygiene

Bed linen is included; Please make your own bed. Your own sleeping bags are not allowed for hygiene reasons. You can borrow towels free of charge at reception.

Please treat beds, furniture and equipment with care. Normal cleaning is included in the overnight price. In the event of culpably caused exceptional contamination or damage, any additional costs that are actually necessary and verifiable can be calculated in accordance with the statutory regulations.

Pets are not allowed in the hostel.

4. Common areas, luggage and laundry

Please leave kitchens, bathrooms and other shared areas clean and tidy. Hygiene items such as sanitary napkins or tampons belong in the designated waste containers and not in the toilet.

Store luggage temporarily

You can store your luggage yourself in the laundry and luggage room in the basement and pick it up again. The staff there does not take care of or supervise it on an ongoing basis. Please lock your luggage, do not leave valuables unattended and keep escape routes and access to the washing machine and dryer clear. Only take your own luggage or luggage with the express permission of the authorized person. The legal liability rules remain in place; You can find details in Terms and Conditions No. 7.5.

You use the washing machine and dryer independently. Please note the care instructions for your clothing, the device instructions and the instructions in the laundry room. Choose the program, temperature and detergent that suits your laundry and remove it after washing or drying. You are responsible for sorting and treating your textiles yourself; we do not offer an assisted laundry service. Report malfunctions and stop using devices that are noticeably defective. The following applies to groups: The rooms will not be cleaned during your stay. Please ensure cleanliness yourself and remove the beds on the day of departure.

Window sills are not seats. Please don't throw anything out of the windows.

5. Night rest and visitors

From 22:00 There is a night's silence in the rooms, hallways and outdoor areas. Please avoid noise when coming home and leaving the house late and be considerate of other guests and our neighbors.

We expect respectful treatment of guests, residents and employees. People without a booking are only allowed to enter the guest rooms after prior registration and consent at reception.

6. Guest WiFi

The free guest WiFi is available via carefree internet provided. You can find the access information in the room. Please note the usage and data protection information when connecting to the guest WiFi as well as the applicable data protection, copyright and child protection rules. File sharing programs are not permitted on the guest WiFi.

7. Security and video surveillance

Use technical devices and connections only as intended. Escape routes and emergency exits must remain clear. Please note the fire prevention information and evacuation plan posted on the room door.

In the event of a fire or other acute emergency, dial 112 and inform reception as soon as it is safe to do so. Never tamper with smoke detectors, fire extinguishers or other safety devices.

Video cameras operate in marked shared areas and access areas: the entrance, the corridor on floor 1 with reception, the corridor in the extension near the lounge, the kitchen, the corridor on floor 2, the basement corridor, and the laundry and luggage room in the basement. 8. Smoking, alcohol and prohibited items

Bringing alcoholic drinks into the hostel is not permitted. The statutory child and youth protection rules also apply to us.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the hostel. Smoking is only permitted outside in the covered bicycle parking area. If smoke damage or false alarms are culpably caused, necessary, verifiable cleaning, damage or operational costs may arise in accordance with legal regulations. Loss of use will only be taken into account if it actually occurred and can be legally compensated.

Illegal drugs and weapons are not allowed. If there is any danger or crime, the police or the relevant authorities can be notified.

9. Violations and contract terms

In the event of violations, the legal rules apply. A termination for an important reason or an expulsion from the house requires the necessary requirements; A necessary warning remains reserved. There are no automatic penalties or cancellation fees for each violation.

The house rules supplement ours General terms and conditions, section 8, insofar as it was effectively included in the contract. Individual agreements and mandatory legal rights remain relevant. Changes to these house rules do not unilaterally change contracts that have already been concluded.
