Fairytale Castle Neuschwanstein built by King Ludwig II in 1869 attracts over 1.3 million visitors from all over the world and is one of the most famous sights in Germany.
Hohenschwangau Castle was first mentioned in history in the 12th century under the name Schwanstein Castle.
Hohe Schloss Füssen Start of construction 1291 once served as the summer residence of the prince bishops of Augsburg.
Castle ruins in Eisenberg and Hohenfreyberg built at the beginning of the 14th century by the Hohenegger line.
Falkenstein Castle Built in 1270 as a castrum Phronten and used until the 17th century.
